(Approx. 1 hour from the venue)
This is where we currently live, and will be staying leading up to the wedding. Gives off big Venice vibes with a bunch of picturesque canals, pastel-colored houses, and a big lake. Take a stroll through the old town’s cobbled streets, visit the Château d'Annecy, or rent a bike and ride around the lake (3.5 hour loop, worth it!).
Check out Mont Veyrier for a short hike with stunning views, and visit Talloires and Menthon-Saint-Bernard for the best swimming spots on the lake. For the best panoramic lookout, head to the Col de la Forclaz viewpoint.
The food scene is solid here too— local markets, cute cafés, bars, and plenty of spots for outdoor dining. If you’re up for more adventure, the nearby mountains are perfect for hiking or paragliding.
